Paul Ruth recently posted his review of reggae/hip hop artist No Phear and his music on The Independent Music Scene. The blog, which seeks to highlight great music by independent musicians who are signed and unsigned, featured No Phear on June 15, 2010.

According to Ruth, No Phear's music is "a cool innovation that deserves to be heard." Ruth went on to mention two of No Phear's songs, "Zion's Gate" and "Thug 4 Life". Both tracks are on No Phear's current album, I Stand Alone, and a video for "Zion's Gate" is currently playing on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQQw5C2WjoY.

Paul Ruth summarized No Phear's innovative sound, saying, "There are some very clear reggae rhythms, yet it is a hip hop pace." No Phear is known for his signature blending of contemporary urban elements like rap and hip hop with the traditional Caribbean sounds of reggae and dancehall.
